Busy, Busy, Busy
Can you tell it's wedding season? I haven't been able to blog in I don't know when.
Every once in a while, I am able to do a facebook, so until it slows down, keep up with me here
See you on the other side...

It's really hard to believe that Christmas has come and almost gone already.
Our kids are another year older, but of course, we're not.
Like many of you, we celebrated the birth of the Lord by spending the day with our family, opening presents and having a wonderful meal. Jacki cooked turkey and dressing with all of the trimmings, and I think we all agree, Christmas 2008 was our best in a long time.
So let me just say to our wonderful friends and clients, many of whom are both, that we hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas, and like Trans-Siberian says, we all find a way to make this feeling last for the next 364.
Merry Christmas, and may God bless and keep you every one. Enjoy the photo o o's...
It's not often that I get to do weddings in my own back yard, but last night was one of those rare occasions, and I am glad about it.
Matt and Carrie tied the knot at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sherman, TX. It was a great service with a hint of Christmas in the air.
Everyone at the church and both families made me feel right at home, and we all had a lot of fun making really cool photographs.
The reception was at Sherman Municipal Ballroom. Instead of the usual collage of pictures, this time, let's try something new with a slideshow. My skills with this will get better, but I have only had the Canon 5d Mark II for this one wedding, so I am still learning how to best blend in video with stills. But we'll get the complete hang of it, and when we do, we'll be able to offer an even more awesome product to our clients than we do today.
Enjoy, and please leave feedback if you'd like to as always.

OK, what are the odds?

Jacki and I had the extreme pleasure over the weekend of photographing Caleb and Katie at the beautiful Faith Church in Sherman.
It was really amazing photographing two friends who we have known since they were pretty young.
It was a wonderful wedding, complete with saran wrapped jeeps, decoy golf cart limos, and more. I wish that we could post all of the photos, but here are a few that we liked. Hope you do, too!
